Mk1 escort spit pivit point

Hi any one know were the pivit point is ona mk1 escort body shell to form the correct spit height. I know it needs to be 42" from the ground but think it needs to be at rear number plate height on the shell and grill height on front. Please help save me time so can get on with car thanks.

I use the rear bumper hole locations, along with the front bumper irons replaced with stronger ones, with a flat bar welded to the ends, then the mount goes from there.
