Mk2 gauges

Hi all. 
 

Itook my escort out yesterday and the gauges are terrible. One minute the speedo needle is bouncing up and down and then the Rev counter needle of bouncing up and down all over the place. Anyone fitted after market and does that solve the problem.

The speedo is likely a problem with your cable. Make sure it runs free with no kinks and disconnect either end then check it spins freely.
