wanted rs2000 mk2 bonnet striker

as above wanted for mk2 rs2000 1980  bonnet striker ,these are different from a std mk2 escort  so not readily available

I wasn't aware that they were different. 

Here's mine anyway for comparison to the one currently on ebay. 

The cone shaped adjuster is inside mine, as the thread is turned into the bonnet.

I would have assumed they were the same, can’t see them doing something different for the RS.

I’ll have the complete striker and spring catch part std escort. But obviously if it’s going on an RS it would qualify for RS TAX..lol

yeh i saw the one on ebay at 27 quid  it says for rs mexico etc , but when u go down the listing it says  ,not for rs2000???

just found out rs ones are slightly longer  hm what now?

They are adjustable in length.  I'll measure mine now for spring setting.

If someone else with a flat front can do the same...

Thing is, the catch next to it has recently been powder coated, but I didn't take this off.

Not a chance  locally where I live. Choices are rusty, creosote or powdercoat.
