Paul Mount Posted May 4, 2023 Author Report Posted May 4, 2023 I'm getting asked if people can just bring cars to show. The answer is yes, It's £15 to display a car which also gives access for one person to watch the cricket. Additional passengers pay £8 or £5 for concessions. The VIP packages are for those who want to splash out and enjoy time amongst the Lord's Taverners and professional cricket players and have a slap up lunch and afternoon Tea.
Paul Mount Posted May 12, 2023 Author Report Posted May 12, 2023 A good mix of cars have entered already across quite a broad range of years. MG have booked the most cars, so far, with Aston Martin close behind. Ford owners are either less interested, than most other marques, or slow off the blocks and will come onboard a little nearer the event. Not one Ford yet, apart from my own. I will definitely have a good day and look forward to seeing an entertaining cricket match, viewing cars I've never seen before and socialising with friends, new and old.
Paul Mount Posted May 16, 2023 Author Report Posted May 16, 2023 Announcements for this event - Mike Gatting, ex England Captain who led England to win the ashes in Australia, has confirmed he will be our guest speaker at the evenings Dinner. He will join David Gower, during the day, in the Lord's Taverners marquee and around the ground. Andy Caddick will captain the Lord's Taverners team and Martyn Ball will captain the Legends team
