If you like Classic Cars or Cricket or both then here are details of a unique event taking place in Cheltenham on 2nd August.

This is a Lord's Taverners event and all proceeds will be used to give young people a better future through the range of support provided by this fantastic charity.

There are already many different classic cars registered and we welcome any make or age from Vintage, classic or modern classics. So book your car in and come and watch some entertaining cricket involving so many celebrities and sporting legends.

Also there are some excellent, cost effective, sponsorship and or exhibiting opportunities. There is a Lord's Taverners Marquee for the players and the sponsors and their guests.

please message me if you want further details or follow this link https://www.lordstaverners.org/events/cricket-golf/cricket-classic-cars/

I'm getting asked if people can just bring cars to show. The answer is yes, It's £15 to display a car which also gives access for one person to watch the cricket. Additional passengers pay £8 or £5 for concessions.

The VIP packages are for those who want to splash out and enjoy time amongst the Lord's Taverners and professional cricket players and have a slap up lunch and afternoon Tea.

A good mix of cars have entered already across quite a broad range of years. MG have booked the most cars, so far, with Aston Martin close behind. Ford owners are either less interested, than most other marques, or slow off the blocks and will come onboard a little nearer the event.  Not one Ford yet, apart from my own.

I will definitely have a good day and look forward to seeing an entertaining cricket match, viewing cars I've never seen before and socialising with friends, new and old.
