Cheers. atlas axle is a type of diff it was fitted to mainly capris some mainland europe escorts,its stronger but heavier than an english axle english is front loadin whilst a atlas is read loadin floatin refers to the hubs and bearing in the axles,cant remember all the info atm but full floatin is the best as its twin taper bearing as fitted on the works cars welded diff and a cheap form of an lsd but means u got drive to both wheels all the time
