Hi all my biggest regret was having to sell my mk2 many years ago due to sell or lose through separation.  Now I’ve managed to get some funds together, I’m after a mk2 escort 4 door/2 door my budget is £15k.

When I first purchased

Cleaned engine bay up, replaced radiator & all water hoses

painted back seat & headliner black

changed headlights, removed buckets and replaced with recaro seats, put dash back together, put new carpet inside,

had a nightmare trying to find the rear c pillars so ended up making my own, 

changed rear lights just brought new front spoiler not sure on best way to fit yet, 

still got lots I want to do

Well done with your progress, it is never ending......there is always something to be doing with a classic.

Thanks still lots to do but doing it with my 2 sons so it’s been really enjoyable, we have lots of ideas we want to do, 

any advise regarding front spoiler fixings would be great would it be best with small nut n bolts or does people just use screws and adhesive
