mate.............. dont become a telly cabage........ you need to continue to get up at the same time as you would if you were working.....

I am motivated by my little girl {14months old}who had a 4hr operation earlier this year and battle through MRSA after...... tough little cookie....

I was up a 5 this morning as usual!

I know what you mean though mate. Really it's only the fact that I need to look after my family that makes me do anything at all. I'm off out in a mo to see about a few bits and bobs

How's the litle 'un doing?

Posted

little one is doing fine.... she had to have her thumb removed and re built and re attached as it was growing with two sets of bones inside and then she had a mild MRSA which kept her in another week {well all of us lived at the hospital}.

What line of work you looking for ?

Posted

M8, sounds like she's been through the wars. Kids are tough though and they seem to rise above things like that, where an adult might struggle with it. Glad she's getting on well :D

Last couple of weeks I've been moving machinery and plant, but that's short term casual work. I'm a chippie by trade but I can tun my hand to most things ;) I think the hardest thing is finding enough regular money to keep your family in the sort of life they expect and deserve. Things were looking up 6-7 months ago with a new job more dough etc. but then my old doris (bless her) decided she'd had enough of me so I'm struggling a bit with that, then two weeks ago my mary of boss announced that he 'needed a rest' from the part of the company me and a couple of others worked for (including posse) so we got shafted.

So as well as being ousted from my home and losing my wife, I've got no job and no income :|

At least I've got my Mk1. AND OSF :D

bloody hell......... thats a lot to deal with in one hit....... one thing at a time you can work through but to be hot with all these issues, not in your control or doing is crap.

where about are you based ?

Posted

Sounds like youve both had a really bad run of luck and I can only hope that things will improve for you (OHC) as you seem a really nice fella and always prepared to help other OSF'ers out.

Hope your little girl is doing well now mate as well

I'm in S. London mate. TBH there isn't a shortage of work and there seems to be plety of money about so I'm sure everything will be cool. I just makes you feel a bit dispondant when everything comes at once. What I need is your little girls attitude and all will be good :)
