How do you make a sig pic?

I wanna have a go at making a sig pic but how is it done. ie what size and what software could i do it on? Cheers.

size is no bigger than 800x 150 you need a prog like photoshop or corel or some paint prog...all downloadable from sertain sites...like emule/utorrent etc

u can use paint takes time its good enough tho
