Chris! Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Hello Martin .... stick in a cossie for quickness and then work on the XE in yoiur spare time yeah and rob a bank
GT_Jim Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 sounds like a cracker of an engine but i agree with jo
minim4rt Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 oh i do like a quick one. lol maby i wil re-build the xe and sell that setup to bye the cossy???? Or put the xe in my mini???? Oh the choises.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 23, 2007 Admin Report Posted March 23, 2007 Stick the cossie in (cheapest option and quick) .... sell the mini and use the money to build an XE
Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 23, 2007 Admin Report Posted March 23, 2007 you have a mini?? What you don't know about young Martin is that he did extremely well in his Hot Rod last year Sadly, he no longer races
minim4rt Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 Ah the starlet y did i sell it. doh. Yes i have a mini hence minim4rt. lol Im not that much in to minis any more thoe grate fun but had to many. So what shel i do with the xe? i got a tigra given to me last week with blown engine? could spaceframe that and have road leagle hotrod!!!
Jay_harrier Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 it'll cost a few quid to put a YB lump in - what do you want long term? turbo or N/A. Are your brakes, transmission, suspension & fuel system uprated already? Chances are if you find a YB it'll need a freshen for safety too. I've planned about £4.5k to install a turbo lump into mine & you sound like you'd want to do it properly too.
minim4rt Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 Yeah if its werth doing its werth doing proper. The brakes are vented groved ebc at front and standard at rear. The plan is to get full hispec set up. Already have lsd but its only on tramp bars so could do with 4 linkin her. Wont use it that much thoe i just like takin bits of cleaning and painting and re fiting then taking in the biuty. lol
GT_Jim Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 you have a mini?? What you don't know about young Martin is that he did extremely well in his Hot Rod last year Sadly, he no longer races i had no idea
mk2 stu Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 listen to jo, stick in the cossie for the time being and then really go to town with the xe as and when time allows!
