Yeah I saw it for sale at Ford fair last summer, it looked as if it had been well done, but TBH I'd rather have them with roof than without. It's bound to lose some of it's stiffness doing that, and I suspect you have to add more weight to get the rigidity back than losing the roof removes.

does look cool all the same, just needs resprayed a nice color like yellow with an rs or mexico stripe and she'd be the dogs danglies, bet it turns heads too
