thanks for the concern peeps gutted is a understatement but I needed a tidy up onwards and upwards there's a few who know who they are who have kept me sane and positive HUMBLE comes to mind

its not the lightened flywheel thats frowned on it the cast iron ones but as above i've never had a problem with cast one's thing is the billet steel one are not that expensive apart from they dont come with a ring gear so thats extra but a couple of place's i use do sell billet one with the ring gear machined into the flywheel
yes there will be weather. of what type NO one knows not even the met office but it will be mild at 18 degrees going by my hair going curly at the tips and it smells like it will be dry
244 all day over the 270 the 270 is just a towing cam the pistons will need deeper valve pockets for the 244 and wider if using a big valve head. or you can use the kc bcf3 if you don't want the expense of pistons being machined
