Hi i have put my engine and box in the shell 2 make sure it does not catch anywhere before i get it painted,but i have noticed both mounts are different. Which mount goes on which side as they both look different Thanks

If it not been messed about with alot then that is probably the best,you know what your getting.If it dont want loads of weldin then £2500 is not out of the way,long as its solid enough

I think no matter what you fit you will have a little trouble.I had trouble with the front panel at the bottom been 20mm too far forward and there rear of the wings at the scuttle panel not been the same shape and that was the best of the to origanal wings.Also were the front panel at the headlight seemed to long,the list goes on.But i would,nt have it any other way.This is why we love them though isnt it,5 year build and still going OLD SKOOL FORDS RULE

Hi,i have been a ford fan for years and have had a few old fords including racing cars.About 6 years ago i got rid of my hoy crossflow powered mk3 escort to buy a mk1 escort.I have been off and on it ever since and i am just preping the shell for paint,i have replaced everytrhing apart from the roof gearbox tunnel and rear quarters.Ill get some photos on soon
