Although i dont agree with all you have said although this comment of yours is 100% true yes its nice to see what is capable when you have a good job and live at home with mum and pay her 40 a week but most of us dont have that much expendable income so have to save months just to get a kenlowe fan or such so more cars like for example Kev Blows mk1 Capri hes owned the car for years and thats what makes this scene so great and individual

Agreed with darran there,and I hope we start to see more uk cars in this years mags that we are likely to see in the flesh at shows . And hopefully the southern backlash is over , looking forwards to mk1 gaz's regular column in rf puddy He's going to do a write up on Zetecs, Nitrous and Turbo's I think Darran and Mark, point taken Now that made me laugh thing is it would be a good write up too as he is quite good at the typo

Fair play to you Mr Morley I personally didnt know about past history but that explains alot but I have to say that its because of features in retro ford I started really spending alot of time on this site even paying my money and I reckon I am not the only one but I also believe that clubs this big should not stick with one publication as to be in all mags is good for everyone with old fords so keep up the good work

Exactly that we all go into the shop and you either have a look through to see if you spot something that you like and buy or you just buy it as you love old fords and then voila you realise that its got nothing in it that you like as said the simple answer is look first and then buy it if you want it,and if you subscribe then you get a couple of free coppies a year compared to normal shop buyers so just think of the crap ones as the free ones

is it me or is there a trend to slag off retro ford mag on this forum lately because by my reckoning this site has a lot to thank this mag for as when it started it seemed to me to just feature cars of members of this site so can we lay off the mag for a bit as surely any mag about our old cars is a bloody good one

apparantly the 60 one is the one to have as the new ones dont upscale old dvd s as of yet but the first ones do and also it has four usb sockets on the front supposed to be the better machine

now i know a lot of people like to use their cars all the time but mine was for sunny days and shows but had my family car nicked nearly two weeks ago so have had to use my capri since its amazing how many cocks just pull out in front of you its like "hello old car shit brakes you prick" but i have to say i have been loving it only pulled over once (racing a mini)but let off as the copper thoght I was in the job RESULT!! even the wife is coming round she doesnt want to pour petrol over it and torch it any more but she still hates it

took my capri to work this monday morning and had a little fun chasing a mini. cop car saw chased us both i went off towards selhurst the mini went straight on and who did they follow me pulled me over about 200 yards from my work,as i got out i started laughing i tried to explain that i couldnt have been going that fast as my car is old, he then looked at my uniform and said to me where are you going i said to the station and he then said to me are you JOB I said yes at which point he said have a nice morning off you go ,what a touch!

were they not made of fibreglass and carbon fibre so no rot as said though what a waste of a great car this needs to be on the road

hello lads got my mag yesterday and i have to say well done its a good un some very good articles loved the kevin jenkins write up as i grew up about 5 doors away from him and the yellow 100e which if i remember had a mad v8 in it and ill always remember when he sold it he put a v6 in it( i think )and i remember somebloke driving it around sutton and me and my mate started talking to him and he tried to pass it off as his build.When i told him i knew where the car came from he couldnt get away quick enough

Have you seen the size of the car park out thr back of the Midday sun in woodmansterne it is massive maybe an alternative for the boxhill meet as there are no houses directly next to it the car park is round the back big enough for about sixty cars I see it as i drive past in my choo choo maybe a nice Sunday meet mix it up for the sunday roast

took my capri to the garage for its mot for monday fingers crossed it will pass already for boxhill

yeah it only happens on the new trains in london as said its because some stations the train wont allow the rear carrage doors to open so its for some of the not so frequent travellers and also just to let you know why it seems to take ages for the doors to open at victoria on the new trains its because the trains dont know where they are so we as drivers have to manually open the doors and the computer system on the train is not the fastest in the world and as all know train driver dont move quickly either

I too am local and know this car quite well as its reg is only one digit out from my cappa will keep an eye out whilst on the choo choo really feel for you mate

£134 now I love my capri (not in a deviant way) but christ i would not pay that for a strip of chrome i was having kittens at£ 80 THANK GOD I GOT MY CAR SORTED BEFORE THIS STUPID BOOM IN PRICES except of course for that bloody boot strip
