I will be picking up my reconditioned engine on monday and i am thinking about getting it set up and performing a few tests on it but i can fit it to the car as yet because i need the room to do some welding and spraying etc has anyone does this?

it depends on size but we get ours from performance trim in west sussex. what are you making with it?

very easy to cut, i made some door cards for the cars at work but its good to sand the edges to finish it off dont do it without a mask though because it is carcinogenic

I really need some help on the cortina as there are quite a few little holes that need sorting and a few larger panels too like the inner wheel arch and the rear corner

as in the glass top pump? will i need a regulator still?

thanks for that. i dont think a standard pre xflow one will cope but i think a xflow is a bit better anyone know the differnce and if it will cope

I am fitting some twins to the mk1 so i take it i will need an electric fuel pump. I have a pacet one kicking around but i dont have a wiring diagram can anyone help me please

I am looking to put 2.8 vented discs on the mk1. i have found some 2.0 capri calipers and hubs but what else do i need to do the conversion? also where can i get caliper rebuild kits and are they hard to do?

my life is going well - good uni placement building race cars for VW, going to malta at the end of the week for our christmas do and there are some women in my life aswel and i have my cortina which is coming along now that i have money

where do people get them from I rang express steel and they quoted 8 weeks and i need them sooner I am after an inner wheel arch on the drivers side and a chassis repair section on the drivers side too.
