  1. Yep, I use a DA polisher with Meg's 105, any pasint guy should be able tyo do it for a few beer tokens.
  2. I'm sure you know but if they aren't cracked and just scuffed up, you can re-polish them.

  10. That looks very much like "solvent pop" it's normally caused by bashing the coats on too quick, or cheap materials.........take it back unless it was a really cheap job. Pete

  15. I was under the impression you were not going to refit the front strengthener and cross, as you are you won't have to do any reenforcing to the sides.In any case it's looking good so far. Pete
  16. If you use a heat gun on the blobs of glue the cross-member will separate from the skin very easily. If you take the front panel out it's best to reinforce the front of the edges (next to the wing) where there is not a return on the lip. does this make sense?

  19. I'd probably take it into the garden first if you want to be still be talking to the old doris when you've finnished.
  20. You "can" bolt a old steel wheel back on and beat the inside with a big club hammer or sledge at a push if you're stuck.
