  1. Thanks mate, still a lot i want to do, but it keeps me entertained in the meantime lol
  2. Decided on a change of wheels.....Also fitted Gaz adustables and a rear adjustable strut brace, changed a few bits under the bonnet.
  3. Cheers guys Was merely posting in case someone was in a position to help, agreed, never part with money til after the work, whatever it is. Don't know the lady and too far away to be of what limited use I might be anyway lol.
  4. Well, just thought I'd give it a wider audience, no dramas......I remember the times when people helped me out in my younger days when I hadn't a clue and thought maybe there might be a club locally that might be able to do something to help. Deaf or not, still a ford fan and we all need help of some sorts at one time or another......now where to I buy a fiat lol
  5. Hi Just seen this posted on Mk1 fiesta forum, unfortunately I'm miles away in Linc's so can't really do much. http://www.fiesta-mk1.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=47416&view=unread#unread Might not be the right section, but I know there's a lot of good people out there in this community that might be able to assist. Cheers for taking the time. Deano
  6. My Mk1 Fiesta 1600 cross flow.... When I bought the car.... And now.....
  7. Been a while since I added to this, made a few changes, had the engine bay painted and engine rebuilt. Now got bvh, Piper 285, lightened flywheel etc. SD cage fitted, pair of harnesses and few more bits tidied, finally got everything in order and got my UK reg sorted so been for a few blasts in it. Mike at Peterborough Classics and Custom did the engine bay and rebuilt the engine for me, got it on the dyno and now putting out 106 bhp@ wheels. Can't speak highly enough of the team there, great guys and very good at what they do. Next job is to tidy up the underneath and hopefully get to a few shows
  8. Nice mate...good luck, hope it sails through. Hoping to get mine MOT'd in July when I am home next, then get a few miles on it before coming back to work.
  9. Cheers fella's, appreciate the comments.....just starting out again after having to sell my Mk2 Escort a couple of years ago, so nice to be back.
  10. Thought I would stick up a couple of pictures of the Fiesta I bought a few months ago. I work overseas so its going to be a slow job getting it to where I want it but made a start last month. Removed interior to check under carpet, pleased to find original underlay in place (and dry) and no rust under it. Refitted interior replacing XR2 seats with RS16i fronts and an RS 4 spoke steering wheel. Still have things to do inside but I will get there. Also removed the pepperpots and fitted the 7x13 Allycats I bought, shod with 175/60 rubber. Managed to find original centre caps in great condition and 4 sets of NOS Cosmic wheel nuts (inc a locking set) so converted to studs. Also fitted a SS exhaust mated to a new Ashley 4-2-1, looks shiny and sounds nice, not too loud! Swapped the standard headlights for Golf items, will eventually remove spots and either leave it or fit some NOS Hella's I picked up. Have an original Austrian roof spoiler to go on but at the moment I am reluctant to drill holes for the fixings.
