Ah no! I almost forgot this! The hub fell off towing it home. I checked all the wheel nuts but didnt realise there where wheel adpators under them... with just 3 threads holding them on. The brake find was a bonus.

evenin' all, ive just found you on farcebook and i am in great need of assistance and advice as ive just bought my 3rd escort this week and they are all in dire straits! im in Thailand where anything goes and a car can be totally ruined by trying to save £50 on repairs and welding some 'local' crap in there instead. ive decided to buy up a few and then spend my last few years cursing and trying to put them right...... you wouldnt believe some of the things they have done to these cars....... ill bung the last pic in as we lost a wheel this afternoon towing this 1 home......thank god it didnt hit anyone and kill them! i checked all the wheelnuts before leaving.......i didnt think to check the wheel spacer nuts....
