Think I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for a 2.8 capri engine box combo and then hav a look wher I'm at for prop shaft and so on

Cheers guys think I might try and trackdown a engine and gearbox combo. Not so worried about the weight as it's going in a model T was going down the rover v8 route but seeing as I already had the T9 thought the V6 would do the job and look right nice compared to the pinto..

Hi this has probably been asked a million times before, but I couldn't find the answer so here goes. At the moment I have a 2litre pinto and T9 from a late model capri in my car and would like to swap for a V6, I want to keep the gearbox as it's in good nick and I don't have to worry about sorting out a new prop either. I don't want an efi unit carbs are the only way but have been told my biggest problem is matching the splines and that only the 2.8 would fit as the essex is only geared up to take a four speed. Any info help on this matter would be greatfully received... cheers

My latest anglia had sat in the previous owners garage for over seven years. thankfully he had put it under a decent car cover so it is in bloody good nick

Had rhis happen to me once in my first anglia it flew off and got run over everyone else in the car thought it was hilarious ................

Got 2 inch blocks on the back of my anglia and had them on the last one, they were welded on and they never gave me any trouble no matter the amount of abuse..

Man that's shit hope it gets sorted and the car and van are fixable, that's the tenth accident i've heard about since yesterday afternoon.. have to admit sounds like he was lucky there was a crowd...

HIC had the last 2 anglias with them. About £200 fully comp,agreed value, trackday cover the works..
