Anywho,I do agree that accident was bloody terrible thing to happen,but I don't think just banning people from driving just for taking part in such an event or having loads of money is a good idea.
Also got to remember this is the first time an accident has happened since the event started 9 or so years ago.
I think there is some responsibilty on the part of the organisers,but they can't have 100% control over everything and everyone.
The rally this year has been called of out of a mark of respect now which is a good gesture I think.
AFAIK,the whole event is all about racing either,some do it for the adventure and for the scenery and having a good time as well.
Don't think all the claims of what goes on there as well are 100% true either,just hyped up a bit to cause some excitement.
I'd love to do the Gumball or Cannonball rally.
Can't just tar the whole event as bad because of a couple of idiots who caused a crash.
