6 months ago almost and i cant remember what car i had let alone who i was insured with lol i was swapping between short term policies as and when i needed to drive as i was wiating for my 21st to take out a years policy so i was insured with e car , endsleigh , norwhich union drive away , e cxar again, flux asnd some other ... i have so far found 20 different certificates of insurance and adding htem up im at over £10,000 someone who has spent over £10,000 on car insurance in the last 4 years is not really someone who would intentionally drive with no insurance is it ?

hi guys im in need of some legal advice on the 2/10/09 i was caught driving with no insurance. now i had not been driving intentionally with no insurance and had not realised my insurance had lapsed. i was in my dads car which was obviously insured in his name i thought i was on it as a named driver but was not. and i was between cars and simply walking to work at my old job. occasionally using dads thinking i was named on it. i had tried to take out my own policy earlier in the week and hadnt realised it had not gone through was still waiting for documents. i was pulled over for something else and they discovered i was not insured and took the car from me it has been a long time and i had kinda forgotten about it since i had not received a NIP i have however just received a summons. looking online i have read in several places that the police have 6 months to prosecute and the date set for the court hearing is the 7th of april that falls out of the 6 month time period. i didnt argue at the scene simply left and let them take the car since this time i have bought the aforementioned car off my dad and it is now registered to me and insured fully in my name. i have a conviction previously for driving with no insurance which was not my fault i expressly requested and was told i had cover to drive other peoples cars when i was 18 and i was pulled in my aunts car and done for driving with no insurance. so im guessing this conviction on my record will work against me basicaly i need to keep my licence. i jusdt got a new job there is no public transport to my place of work i am the best emergency contact for my yonger brother who is still at school as my mum works in the city and my dad is about to move out ot france to rebuild a house out there i need to keep my job! and for that i need a licence. my licence atm shows 6 points 3 for speeding january of 07 (so am i right in saying no longer valid ? ) and 3 for in10 driving with no insurance august 08. what should i do plead guilty by post now and include everything i can think of in my statement ?

years 7 - 11 school uniform should be compulsary it removes one thing people can be bullied about but in 6th form you have chosen to stay on at school you arent being forced to be there its a choice thing. colleges dont have a uniform for a level students and in my town there is some sort of 6th form consortium so you sign up at one school but can do lessons at any of them.... if the college has no uniform and the schools have their own uniforms it all gets a bit silly ..

(it was a 2.0 or 2.1 pinto)

At least one of my vehicles would be without an ID, and yet it's taxed, tested and insured and on the road today. Also been stopped by VOSA more than once, and the police on spot checks. Yet, if I called them up and told them what had, over the years, been done to it, they would take back the V5 soooo quick it would make your head spin. Why make life hard foryourself? However isnt is to do with modifications carried out at any one time ? and with different design ... for example if you were to replace nackerd suspension with brand new but of the same design it would not be an issue but were you to replace a leaf spring set up to a 5 liked rear end with coilovers at the same time as changing from xflow to pinto and auto to manual and steering box to steering rack conversion all at the same time on an anglia you would loose enough points to mean it would loose its id ...

So do I (and quite a few others) yeah but i dont have an osf aswell ... just my e30 tourer awaiting new wheels

ive got a landrover 110 with the 200tdi engine ... the best engine if you plan on doing alot of wading ! regularly had water over the bonnet and its got a 2 inch lift and 285/75/16 tyres on it mods so far scorpion racing steering gaurd , safari snorkel , rock sliders with tree bars , eezi awn roof tent , 2 inch lift , forward facing seats for the rear and a lockable cubby box for the front middle , discovery transfer box for better motorway cruising speed, its great fun havent done loads of off roading in it but its great fun and you would be surprised what ittl go up or through got it stuck once but that was with all terrein tyres ... got kumho kl71 s on it now and they are awesome im not saying there arent better off road tyres but find a better off road tyre that quieter then an alll terrein on the road and i will take my hat off to you. landrovers are great offroad and cheap and easy to fix if you dont mind it looking ratty as fook ... lol for example ... brand new bumper (trade price) £11 ... second hand wing with inner wing and light .... £25 good times all round
