kev give me an outline in actual size of the end bits in a jpg or something i have an awesome idea to make that spoiler better i think its so close to being epic win but just needs a nudge int he right direction so if you can get me the outline shape you have used for the end bits and email it to me ill nock something up for you

galvanising is just a sacrificial coating of zinc essentially ... a galvinised chassis will still rust ... once the galv has oxidised away

are you sure you need new butterflies ? seems a little odd its more then likely the auto choke playing up as they are notoriously bad see if you can find the manual choke bits to convert it or bin it all together ... running with no choke is fine aslong as you get it a little warm before you drive off or you will stall it at the first roundabout / junction and if its a real bitch till warm i would also check your ignition timing and condition of your plugs ht leads and dizzy cap etc

so the only way to save one is the nice and illegal process or ringing find yourself the same car as aan unrecorded write off and chop and change tags and chassis numbers not easy and not legal

have to disagree with you on this mate bought a vitara from breakers that was registered as scrap we had to get it mot`ed then once that had been done we took it for a V.I.C ( vehicle id check) once that was done it was then road legal again if a breakers yard is willing to sell it then you can by law put it back into road service if its registered as scrapped yes ... if i destruction certificate has been issued ... no ... two different things

you can only buy whole cars fromt he scrap yard if they havent recorded them as scrapped and issued a destruction certificate with this new scheme they have to be registered as scrapped the merc garage in stevenage took in a 1999 audi a3 in black with only 36k miles on it and an immaculate interior for thsi poxy scrappage scheme exactly the car i was looking for as a reliable daily ...

i ran 205/60 s on the rear and 175/50s on the front of a capri for a while cant say it inspired me with confidence ... but i always had 205/60s on the rear and 185/60s on the front which isnt gonna be tooo different to what you are proposing dude i woudlnt have thought itd be too bad

err i havent looked underneath the back .... all ill say is as it is i drove it 200yrds to get it off the road under its own power .....
