I understand the whole restored verse og debate but I do believe your car takes it to another level, almost beyond auto culture and into art??
Haven't seen your car in the flesh (unless it was the one on the AVO stand at Birmingham last year) but would love to have a poke around it someday.
I'm very lucky to own a mostly orginal AVO car, unmolested and covered in 35 years and 45000 miles of history. (The VW guys call it patina, Ford guys call it scabby )
Don't think I'd swap but hey as I said each to their own
I'll be Joining the AVO club in a couple of weeks (about time after 15 years of ownership) so maybe we'll catch up someday at some shows.
