  1. Top ones look like airline quick release fitings, from my (limited) experience they are standard other than there seems to be 2 different length of fittings. https://www.amazon.co.uk/bsp360-Set-Compressor-Quick-Coupler-Connector/dp/B01M8O7I4F/ref=asc_df_B01M8O7I4F/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=389455173012&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3121078455170125489&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045432&hvtargid=pla-834575496172&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=79329977946&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=389455173012&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3121078455170125489&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045432&hvtargid=pla-834575496172

  4. Mine is still a work in progress, and this photo is a few months old, but I just love how the car looks here
  5. My notifications always just say "somebody"
  6. Was hoping to make this one but then realised its the wifes birthday weekend, so I would be hung, drawn and quartered if I even dare suggest it
  7. Yep, exactly why I went that route. It's also a bit different, and I like that. Can't wait to see what it is like in my 100e.
  8. Yeh it is turbo'd. 278bhp was best we saw, but we had issues getting the power down on the dyno, so it is likely more than that. Oh and that was on the "low boost" setting 🤣
  9. 😲My pinto has more power than that and costs a hell of a lot less to build too!
  10. I think there have always been those that preferred originality over modified, but as the cars get older and more "collectable" there will be more people that are vocal about their dislike for modifying. That is unless the modifications fit a particular "approved" 🙄 route. My father inlaw has a pre-war austin 7 rp. People are furious if you modify one, even using an otherwise scrap car for a build that isnt back to original, unless you build a "special" then they love it...
  11. I don’t see IVA being that difficult really assuming the car is well screwed together. It is not as scary as most people make out, just need to build with the test in mind and familiarise yourself with the manual.
  12. Depends how the DVLA view the parts and if you can convince them they are “heritage” replacement parts, then you can as it would class as a replacement chassis. Lots of it’s though and wouldn’t like to be first to try. Personally would just go IVA route for a road car.
  13. ooh sorry, well from what I have seen of the mk2 shells, they should be pretty good!
  14. Interesting question... You could build a "new" car with it and go through IVA process, which would be simple enough. OR... you could potentially rebuild an existing MK1 escort using one as a "like for like" replacement chassis, which then doesnt require any tests.
