  2. go on the tranny oh err can't beat a good old flat front Mk2
  3. If Tim's mex did have mirrors under it then they'd have been covered in waxoyl by now, like the floor in his garage
  4. NO COMMENT Just got my copy of CF this morning, I'd have though Ian would have got a better jack for the underneath shots
  5. Its excelent that there will be a concours event at classic ford to give Ian a chance to show off his motor. (Just hope the weather is ok )
  6. Correct Tim, My Fiesta has paint markings all over it that I found under layers of wax when I was striping it down. I visited the owner last night to cast a second pair of eyes over the car. And yes, it is definately a top motor Cant wait to have another look round it now Alan RSOC Bufty Judge
  7. Gareth, Pristine did the wheels on my RS, dropped them off and collected them 4 days later. Spot on job, very recomended. About £50 a wheel though. ( I would post pic's buts its not an OSF )
  8. I like your thinking gareth, i'm always worred about getting the mk2 transit stuck, with the fez on the back. 4x4 transit....... Mmmm now there is a thought - lol
  9. and I'll be driving the taxi I suppose
  10. At a guess, it could be an interferance suppressor ????
  11. I transport my fez on the back on my flatbed mk2 transit. Although with a 2l pinto under the bonnet it's not that economical. But at some ford shows the transit gets more looks than the fiesta on the back of it
  12. spot on
  13. where's the gimp pic then tim .....
  14. Definately the latter as I have judged the car in the past, and he beat my skater fez to go head to head against the austin. And above all, its got a blue oval on it
  15. Something subtle ??
  16. I saw one Banger racing last year .... http://www.standlakearena.co.uk/hmc_2006.htm and a few other unusual motors including a quite few granada limo's ! !
  17. There is a sticker in this pic, not sure what it say's though...
  18. Vid of Mk2 going bang.....
  19. Transit ???
  20. So do I, it's always interesting to have a nose round the old motors. as for museum stuff, If you ever go to haynes motor museum, see how many escorts you can see (any age mk1 - mk6)
  21. It has been driven, on the way to and from the autoglym round...... in the rain
  22. Nope, I'll never drive it, thats what my brothers Fez 1800 is for As tim said, it's keepin mint examples of the car alive aswell. If there wasn't concours cars out there, then the knowege of what a standard car would have looked like would be limited to old pictures & Magazine articles.
  23. you should have entered it for furthest traveled as well
  24. yeh, I realy ought to work on presenting it better. Got any ideas ???
  25. Nice desk pic Excellent in getting the transit in the mag, one better than my fez did Obviously, my fiesta isn't in good enough nick to be photographed for fast ford mag -
