Will this have a negative effect on the handling? I've just ordered some 16x8" wheels from Image with zero offset but I'm worried they won't fill the arches with an X pack kit. I've heard that the 7.5J RS four spokes have an offset of -20.

I've just bought one and the tubular manifold fouls the steering column. Can't see any way to sort it out. Anyone else had problems with poor fit?

Like I said, the problem is intermitent. Never seems to want to play up when I want to check it.

I've got a problem with my engine vibrating really badly (still does it with the clutch depressed so I'm pretty sure it's the engine). It makes the whole car shake. It's intermitent (but getting more regular) so I'm pretty sure it can't be an engine mount. I think it might be the engine missing although the spark plugs all look to be okay and the leads are brand new. Thought it might be the ignition coil breaking down so I've got a new one of those and I'm fitting a new dizzy cap and rotor arm at the same time as they're both looking a bit tired. Does this sound about right or am I totally off the mark? Also does anyone know what the white bits, with rubber covers, that fit between the leads and the dizzy do? I've never had them on any other car. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are the CCI Exhausts any good? I only need a mild steel system as I'm gonna put a bigger lump in sometime next year.

This may disappoint some of you but it’s not a real brookie. You gotta be nuts to buy a real one! I paid a good 2-3k less for this than I would have had to lay down for the real deal and what’s the difference? A digit on the chassis number. That’s it! Even to the point where the guy I bought it off had bought it as the genuine article and only found out it was a replica when he was trying to sell it. That’s one expensive digit! Thanks to everyone for all the rad comments and you know if I had money to burn, I’d paint a real one in a second just to piss off the old beard brigade!

Never liked Brooklands Green much or the plastic rubbish they stuck all over the later Capris but when I found this bad boy I just couldn't say no to that full leather Recaro interior! Bit of filler and a few rattle cans later and it's good to go! The day after I picked it up.
