was a really good turnout, i started off at escort tec then popped up to boxhill before getting the urge to work on the car!

Been planning to go nurburgring for my first eurotrip, but after watching topgear tonight!!! Well me and my co-pilot are planning a cross alps thrash, cars, roads and the occassional stop off for a beer and a pretzel!!

YES YES YES!!!!!!!!! fooking magic, sunday evening, had a pukka weekend working on the car and then topped off with the excellent top gear (funny, proper petrolhead, Informative, etc) and a roast dinner does it get any better? Well yer it does, already planning a trip to the swiss alps in the mk2 for next summer!!!!

front lamps are fine, they're on seperate fuse but on same switch on stalk, wierd i know, jus rear lamp (not brake light) interior gauge light and ashtray light all out and on same switch! doing my swede in!

cheers for the advice tom............not! definate bmw technician!!! I disconnected both lights and cut cable to rear, fuse still blew! short is got to be dash end!

My missus has a mk1 mazda mx5, i know its not osf but i really need help, her rear lights and gauge lights have packed up, checked the fuse and its blown, replaced it and it blew straight away, obviously a short somewhere but i'm fooked if i can find it, me and and an auto electrician mate stripped it back and cant find the fault!! been on a mx5 owners forum but they aint got a scooby! pls help if you know an expert ask him ta!

Mate i'm really gutted for ya, reading that is very hard, all the work and effort we put into these things and in a second theres another £2500 to shell out! Re-build it, get back in it and remember why we do it! Chin up!

ta bud! yer i guess its been sitting on a shelf for 4 years and put it in other day, annoying thing is though i hadnt tightened the runner up so it was under much tension, just a crap day, should have stayed at home and played on wii!

Woke up with hang over this morning, went down to garage opened up to find this Window was fitted up nearly four days ago, but decided overnight to shit itself!!! To make matters worse, day went terrible, nothing went in, threaded suspension leg and chip paint on car!!! Then my mate got a spark in the eye and we,ve been down a&e for 2 hours!!!
