  1. Have just bought a new pair of Bucket seats and need a little advice on sub-frames to fit em They have the slider adjusters already fitted to the base of the seat but need a sub-frame to get em up off the floor so i can see over the dash I have looked at various sub-frames advertised for bottom mount seats and some look right dodgy !! Have also found some brackets that bolt to the base of the seat and enable you to use side mount brackets to then bolt to the floor which look a lot safer but if anyone has experience with this can you help please
  2. Dazza this is my GT !! A good friend of mine bought one of these models on ebay and rang me to say the reg was same as mine. I thought he was joking till i brought one ,took it out the box , and could'nt believe they had used my car. Your model looks the dogs mate ,real credit to you
  3. Escorts coming on leaps and bounds Dan,wont be long before we'll all be going to shows and meets in convoy matey. Well done Get it built lad ! Come on the Pod !!
  4. I'm so sorry to hear that this meet is no more Steve. My Kids loved jumping in the GT with me to go along to the Ashford Diner, especially when the weather was good. I must admit i did'nt go to every meet you organised but the ones we did were pretty good turnouts, albeit the crappy weather ones, well done anyway Steve. Just a shame we did'nt give this meet the turnout it deserved.
  5. Well i've finally gone and got it from 105 S P E E D and it is a thing of beauty!! Gonna get it fitted tomorrow along with some Samco silicone hoses which are hopefully in the post now from Burtons. Thanks to all that said the 105 S P E E D manifold was well worth getting. Here is a piccie to show what its like I'll put another piccie up when shes on tomorrow

  9. Just like to say Welcome to OSF to Tom (alias green-0909) He is only a youngster but loves his OSF's none the less! He has helped me out loads from time to time on my GT. He has just started college, doing a Mechanic's course, and is saving hard for his first taste of OSF ownership, preferably a MK 3 Capri. Well done Tom see you on the driveway matey when i next get in the DOODOO!!!!!!!
  10. Hope it's OK to put this in Chit Chat? The rad in my GT went awol a few weeks ago on my way to the Ashford diner meet and i took it to Bryan & son in Tunbridge Wells,he repaired it for me many years ago and did a fantastic job but it sprung a leak from a joint on the big header tank. Gave him a bell, took it down there next day ,he repaired GT rad & also checked out a Mk2 escort rad for me while i waited for £30 which i thought was well reasonable. Top top bloke, real Old Skool workshop down an alleyway between some shops. His address is Bryan & Son,165a Camden Road,Tunbridge Wells,Kent,TN1 2RG open from 8.30-6.00pm tel number 01892 544635 He also repairs heaters too! Really recommend this chap for quality service and price
