  9. Just got in after starting at 8 this morning prepping the scort for paint! still got all the outer panels to flat and prep Cant wait till its done though, pictures arriving soon!

  11. For future, always get a receipt signed by both parties. mk2 stu: - no need for that really, we all make mistakes. Okay, He could be trying it on, maybe there never was anything wrong with the car. You could ask him for photos but its not a great idea I feel at this stage. Neither of you have documents/receipts stating how the car was sold Was it sold on ebay pal?   14. tough one mate, stay diplomatic and dont start throwing accusations, if you've sold it and made him sign a "sold as seen" receipt your covered, now lets be honest a driveshaft going happens everyday and doesnt hurt anyone! its unfortuanate but theres nothing he can really do, to be honest it sounds like hes trying it on, its upsetting when you buy a motor and something goes wrong but, hey thats the joy of 2nd hand cars!

  20. My Car is in the oven and being primed! my mate has finally got my baby in primer and its gonna be back by the end of the month, fully painted and ready to fit up! Now.......................... where did i put those (insert every part to be fitted!). Anyone know where i can get a grand or 2 to finish it!

Sounds good mate, your on the right road, use etch primer lightly and flat all areas with minimum of 400 grit on a sander before primer. if possible remove as much paint before primer, the less material beneath your primer the less there is to react or sink back, anymore questions you know where to find me

  24. yer mate if you can get to a automotive paint supplier, for price and ease of use you wanna get u-pol 20:86, with 20:30 hardener, its easy to use and v.nice to rub down, any more questions bro?
