I'll give them a go as they supplied me with the stainless pistons and seals for my calipers

I could just use locktight which would do the same as nyloc I guess. I just wanted to try and put back what was originally fitted.

Can anyone help? I may have to take a gamble and order the M16 type caliper lock tab kit and hope for the best

Would anyone be able help me out I have a 1972 mk1 escort which has front suspension legs from a 1300 1972/1973 escort estate they are the early P16 type calipers I'm after caliper and disc locking tabs and some people say the m16 caliper type kits fit my set up to. could anybody confirm this for me or if not point me in the right direction to the correct lock tab kit.

The 1300 is a slightly smaller diameter clutch if i remember correctly but the gearbox's fit all engine sizes they are just different gear ratios yours will be a short ratio box if its a 1300 unless its a sport/ghia model mk2 escort then you willl have the higher ration box longer 2nd gear if i remember rightly. hope that helps mate

I have a genuine ford rs2000 mk1/mk2 alloy bellhousing in extremely good condition no cracks/damage etc be hard to find a better one. £160 Plus Postage.

As above Mk1/Mk2 Escort Burton Power heavy duty gearbox mount I bought this for my car and fitted it drove it less than 1 mile up the road and realised it gives a bit more feedback from the transmission etc as it is uprated and more suited to highly modified escorts. I paid £55 delivered it is in as new condition so lets say £40 delivered to anywhere in the UK

The car is all booked in with Longlife exhausts in Wallington so their going to make me a system dont know if i have enough funds for the manifold aswell so going to have to use my Ashley 4 branch which is nearly new anyway and get the stainless system fitted to that. I just cant justify 340 quid for a manifold at the moment

I'm after buying a 105 speed crossflow stainless manifold for my mk1 escort I can't seem to find out how you order from them does anyone have a contact number or a link at all? Also does anyone know if the stainless mass type exhaust manifold they sell fit the mk1 escort with a 1600 xflow engine without having to chop or alter the battery tray or anything else. The plan is the fit the manifold and have a custom stainless system made on the car afterwards. Cheers guys
