  1. I know i know i have a servo and some front legs just trying to track down one caliper and one steering arm then i will be away. Sparkycapri has the bits i need so i am now just waiting on a PM from him

  3. Thanks for the offer mate but i have managed to track down a brand new one for £80 its a 1600 mk2 one but i am sure they are the same well they seemed to think so Does anyone else know if they are the same as MK1 Rads?
  4. Right quite an update on the Escort i have fitted new rear brake assemblies i am not running MK1 Escort Mexico 9" rear drums i have also brought and fitted a 3 Spoke RS Steering Wheel. Also i have brought a set of 4 fully refurbished RS 4 Spoke Alloys complete with new tyres i had to buy the correct wheel nuts for them from rally design only £30 posted Anyway here as some pictures of how she is looking now. As you can see all i need now is some center caps for them so if anyone has any of the chrome ones which stick out like Jonnyh's ones that they want to sell that are in good condition and ready to go on please PM me and let me know how much you want for them Anyway what do you all think

  8. toby dont think halfords sell them we are not in 1985 any more It just i am a bit skint so was going to try and get a second hand one first ive just spent out £200 on a set of refurbed with new tyres RS 4 Spokes and wheel nuts etc and then the poxy radiator goes

I am in the South East London Area so if anyone has one i can buy off of them it would be a great help the sooner i can get one the better as i have to use the car daily It is a 1300 crossflow so i would prefer a 1600 one as they have the bigger header tank if not a standard 1300 one will do for now to get me out of trouble. If anyone has anything please put a post below or PM me. I will really appreciate it if someone can help me out here as i am really stuck

  13. I only finished fitting my 9" rear drum set up on me mk1 escort after you posted this Then found out 12" wheels dont fit over the drums

I have a 1972 (L-Reg) mk1 escort and i want to fit a set of 13" 5.5J RS 4 Spoke Alloys all i know is they take the flat nuts the ones with a washer on i but does anyone know what ones because rally design have 3 choices and for some reason cant tell me what ones i need Here is a link to the page on rally design where all of the wheel nuts are could someone who knows more about this sort of thing click on the wheel nut i need and post the link up. http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/index.php? ... =2a&page=1 Thanks

  19. I have put some 10/40 semi synthetic oil in my 1300 crossflow mk1 escort as i had nothing else laying around i thought i had some 20/40 but it must have got used Will it be safe to run it off of the 10/40 semi synthetic stuff? Let me know please someone. Cheers
  20. Mate go down halfords and buy some stick on chrome thats what i done for me MK1 escort boot lid trim and it looks spot on no one guesses thats it not original
