As above really guys as i have a set of disc brake legs removed from a 1973 MK1 Escort Estate and one caliper is missing so i just wanted to know if the M16 Calipers bolt straight onto them. They have the bolt on steering arms but one is also missing does anyone also know if the bolt on arms will be the same as the ones currently on my drum brake legs and also can i use my current brake hoses or will i need new ones? The one other thing is will the legs fit straight on as thats what i have already been told by a few people but just wanted to check first before i start the job Any help would be much appreciated guys

Still havent checked the speedo yet should be able to get me mate out with his satnav to check it

So i need to find any legs off of a 2.8 capri (will they all fit?) or only some?

Would 1.3 MK1 Escort estate legs and a servo be okay for what im running (1.3 crossflow with twin weber and ashley exhaust)?

I think i might take you up on that offer mate Dont know when i can do it though as im flat out at the moment to get my grade at college and im trying to sort a job in sainsburys to Im looking forward to seeing if i can keep up on the way to the Ace next time (at least i wont need to scream it all the time now)

I do have the same diff as a mexico its a 3.7

Ive got a 3.7 diff and i think the gearbox is from a 1600 as it does about 55mph in second gear

My car now tops out at guess what off the clock i think it was doing around 115-120mph it was doing 5800RPM but i only have a 110mph speedo. Thats with the 1300 crossflow engine,twin weber carb, ashley 4 branch and 2" single box system and what i think might be a mk2 1600 box or possibly and mk1 1300 one. This was of course on private land So i guess it was a good thing the 1100 gearbox went i seem to have done quite well out of it really

Me as well now as Fathers day tomorrow and were off down the coast
