Be careful how you approach people, some have a genuine interest and are just admiring your car. I got a bit worried when a fella was poking around mine, I was a bit offish until his wife, kids and his elderly father came around the corner for a chat. However, I suppose you cant be to careful. OK Guys an update..... A lovely lady from the Hospice has contacted me regarding the run. This is the best bit....... she's a car nut and was nearly delivered at Wimbledon Stadium as her mother went into labour in the stands! Her father drove, Hot Rods and super Stox...... but not to the hospital before you ask. She reads CF and Retro herself and is aware of what happens in the scene, it must be fate? The Charity are impressed with the idea and have sent me all the bumpf relating to sponsorship. She will contact the local paper, provide balloons and start/finish banners, also magnetic signs for the convoy reps. We will try to aim for October. Please bear with me between updates.
