and thats what i would be after in the future. If i added/changed something to my car, i'd like to see the most accurate figure that my engine would be, if i was to take it out, and stick it on a dyno. i'd 100% use you in the future anyway, lol. As you aint far from me at all

yeah, it was well worth doing it as i said at the start, it was a comparison to see who's dyno was CLOSEST TO MY ENGINE! thats all! not anyone elses. I enjoyed doing it.

looking at that graph, it looks like you had quite a few runs, and only once it made that power. i would be inclined to follow the average ones that are grouped together.

seconded, known him a while now and agree fully. for the record steves own ford mondeo has been run on our dyno, a couple of BHP down on what ford claim but not much considering its not brand new. Was it not 20-25hp down or something on a 60k engine? er no it was not, i can post the graph up tomorrow if steve does not have it, who on earth told you that? must have heard wrongly then! you did indeed, i will pull up the graph tomorrow no ones 100% mate would be good to see

Yes the filter is about 15mm from the tip of the trumpets (not measured it yet) but it's all foam over the whole front and sides so you wouldn't think that it would lose that much power really . Just goes to show how much extra power can be had by having an unrestricted air flow path into an engines throat . They should really stick a flat plate infront of the trumpets when doing an engine dyno test to simulated the innerwing , at least it's a bit more of a comparision . do you know what? i was thinking the EXACT same thing today. i'd be scared of my hand being sucked in by the carbs though
