I set out to look for a car from the year i was born, was really looking to buy a capri and then a 2 door mk2 escort turned up, it was cheap and in good condition. Thats how i ended up with my 1300 mk2 2door escort. As the car was a 1300 I obviously wanted to make it faster so starterd to look around for parts to covert to a pinto, then i spotted a 76 mk2 rs2000, it worked out cheaper to buy that then to source all the parts seperatly, hence at the mo i have 2 mk2 escorts.
