Hello all - long time no speak! Got in a bit of trouble at work for internet usage -we all knew it was coming hence my disapperance from the site! All is well, my mk1 is going for MOT on Saturday. Progress has been really good. All my brakes and lines have been replaced exhaust sorted, ordered my seats, wiring has been re-done, billy's put on the front, tyres on order. All that 's left is carpets! (well for phase 1 anyway) Phase 2 will be after the summer - replace drivers side sill, paint and engine change. I'll pop back every so often make sure everyone is ok. see ya Kathy

Why should people who can read and write in plain old Queens English need to read up and swat about a half hearted language that has been made up by lazy skintflints!!!! Actually that's a bit harsh - i hate text speak - understandable in a text message - but if there is that much to get across why not ring the person Ok in moderation but I'm obviously getting old 'cause it drives me mad

I can't get one - evrywhere is sold out been trying for two weeks now - places are only getting two or three in stock at a time and when I asked at the huge tesco's when they were going to get some more she said even the staff haven't been told when they will be in so they can't tell friends and relatives

I'm trying to do loads of work cause I've got two days off later so I can prepare to go rallying at the weekend - not enough time to be osf'ing really but hey who cares

I can't say that I've actually heard it - so I wouldn't know - do they still do the charts?

We go every year too - and was gutted about the saturday night stage cause we've already booked a room for that night. Which stages are you watching on Sunday? We are going to go to the Blidworth stage - not been to this one yet so not sure where to stand. But we are going to both the Clipstone north stages - we often walk round most of the stage - but Simon likes to stand by the 'whoops' and there is one bit of the stage where there are two crossroads and you can see 6 different bits of the stage. My favorite bit is a tight lefthander up a narrow tree lined hill - watched a mk2 astra destroy himself in there a couple of years ago Kathy

Well I'm going to finish painting my ickle bathroom tonight. Get my wheels fixed on my other car on Saturday - might also polish my escort and finish it's wheels off too. Then racing Sat night at Ipswich and big fookin lie in on Sunday - woo woo.

Ahh - might cause a few problems then. I've been having a think and most Ford cars are girls names. I have a friend who races bangers and all of his sons are named after cars; Austin, Riley and Westly (it was a close to a westy as they could get!).

Surely the obvious choice would be 'Henry' I'm a bit boring when it comes to names, Thomas, James, Matthew etc My nephew is called Aiden which is cool though.

I went to that meeting and had a look round the pits beforehand - I was gutted to see that there His team mate had a mk3 cortina in black too. - they won an award for best presented team but both were useless as bangers - only did a couple of laps. The mk1 was very rotten - a lot of it was made with newspaper - cover the holes so it looked pretty

Jordan I think that meeting is talking about one that's already been on 28/1/2007 - it was an inter promo type thing. Can't see any fixtures though for April
