  1. and fill out a v10 form out from mem No form filling anymore - all done by bar-codes.
  2. I'll make it £51.
  3. It would be better to fit a Watts Linkage. Excellent axle location with no sideways deflection on droop/bump. If you're going to get your hands dirty, make it worthwhile - keep the Panhard rod for propping up the bonnet!
  4. Yes you do need to SORN it even if it's tax exempt. To re-tax it after the SORN period, all you need to do is go to your local PO (or DVLA offica) with log book, MOT and insurance, and you'll get new tax. It's as easy as that.
  5. 'BI'..........That's cross-dressing again isn't it?
  6. It's got to be a Ford engine in a Ford............ ........Fitting anything else is the automotive equivalent of cross-dressing!
  7. 46..........A bit too old to be out at night. Can't drink too much as the old bladder is a bit weak. Can't eat any bar snacks as teeth might break. Bit deaf and a bit blind, so meetings and conversation are out...... .....Still, matron says if I'm good and take my medication then I can race my car again soon.
  8. Nitrous refill and a set of new plugs.
  9. First car(!) was a Moggy Minor Van. Second car was a '68 2-door 'Scort Then there was a Mk1 Mex, Mk2 Mex, Mk2 RS2. Mk2 RS2 X-Pack. Another Mk2 RS2, and then the (ahem) slightly modified RS2 I've got now. Interspersed amongst the above were about another 100 old sh*tters of various makes & models. Just bought the wife a Fiesta ST. Not very old skool, but a real laugh. 150BHP in a car the size of a roller-skate!
