  1. I've also had complete and utter rubish service from them. The inital order was incomplete so when I rand them it was as above. I bizzarly ended up in an argument wether I had received them or not? His wife ended the debate after I asked to speak to Peter himself by putting the phone down. Seveal calls later and still nothing but 'what do you want' and even 'don't ring here again!' Never got it sorted out. Never went back, it's Burton's all the way for me. Completely useless in customer service.
  2. There is a lot of gear with that car. If it was near to me it certainly would be worth a visit to see the condition of the parts and whether it is just a matter of assembly or whether a lot of restoration is required. He doesn't say if it is silver or white? But if the shell is as described, which on the bay they rarely are, it will sell ok.
  3. They really look good! I have a brand new set of these for sale. They have never been fitted and are still in the boxes. £269.
  4. Looking very nice indeed. Have you thought about 1/4 bumpers for the front with 2 CIBIE Oscars? Dosen't need them as it looks well without but its an easy mod that you can do then undo in a morning.
  5. Hope this comes out. Anyone for a Gp4 1800
  6. Just a couple I scanned from the Autosport mag Nov. 1978 You should read the classified section!
  7. Some fantastic pictures there. Does anyone know the name of the Ebay shop that had Eaton Yale graphics for sale?
  8. Just as the title says. I know it should be coming up soon.

    lsd

You can tell if your car has got a lsd pretty easily by spinning up the rear end. Both wheels spin and the tail goes out in a nice controllable fashion. None of that tankslapping, fishtailing oh er missus that comes with one wheel spinning then gripping and spinning again. For an English axle, which mk2 have, TranX, do a good one. A new one will cost about £400 and you'll need bearings gaskets ect to fit which will cost a max of £60. To tell if your axle is fitted without doing doughnuts, simply jack the rear end off the ground with the handbrake off. Turn one wheel manually. If the opposite wheel goes in the same direction it's a lsd, if it goes the other way its a standard diff. Looking at them on the bench a standard diff will have a nest of cogs where as an lsd wont have any showing just a solid set of plates. Check ebay out for pictures.
