I feel for you budy, some scum f*uck tried to steal my car out of my garage and when they couldnt start it they tourched it, gutting the car and garage. I just hope what goes around comes around.

I had some old fooker lean out of his window and give me a load of abuse once, he was shouting " tern that f**king thing off " and I only just pulled up at home. Funny thing was the next morning he had a couple of flat tyres, verry strange

Not sure if anyone else does, but I always give the carbs and linkage etc a light coating of wd40 and its never harmed it. Its the only product I can think of, hope this helps m8.

Is it me or are good painters getting scarce, Twice now ive been let down by a painter saying " yeah I will come over and have a look no probs " only to be let down. It seems that cause its an old car a lot pf painters cant or wont touch it. Some panels are of the car so I cant drive it to paint shops to get quotes so im stuck locally. If any of you guys know of a good paint shop in hampshire please let us know as im really getting the hump. cheers.

Hmmm that silver capri on page one is errr a bit rough, but I like my cars like I like my women so I bought it I have given the interiour a make over though, she now has a mounteney wood rim wheel with chrome center and a chrome gear knob, plus ive just bought a 3ltr gear dash with a grab handle. I crashed a mk3 capri laser once, the front end locked up on a tight turn and I went through a fence then through a hedge and into a garden. After that I had a lot of respect for the old girl, I got to cocky and she taught me a lesson, good thing is I reversed out and had a look and it was scrached up a bit but ok. Life is a lesson mate , just learn from it.

Very nice motor, I saw it at a show in basingstoke memorial park summer time, and at santa pod. Good to know your a local lad to, im just round the corner from newbury in tadley. Keep it ticking mate.

This kind of work goes on a hell of a lot, all you need do is watch rouge traders on tv and you can see how many cowboys there are out there. We should definatley name and shame these people, these scum depend on honest people like us for a living, so the more we can share info like this the better. Hope all goes well mate.
