How hard do you reckon it is to find the parts to build a custom hot rod like that im thinking about doing one once the cortina is on the roads

if ever you want a break the easiest way of doing it is (if you can get a friday off works best) jump in your car pack some food, drink and camping equipment and go camping for a weekend and dont leave the site just swan around. i did it last year and even tho you dont go abroad it feels like your on holiday. i live in guernsey and camped in guernsey and it feeels like i got away!

thats worrying! erm there is a lever that comes out the side gbox that i think moves the clutch release bearing. and my hydraulic stuff for the cluct leads to a cylinder infront of the lever. below that rolling along the floor i found a rod and a rubber grommit/seal looking thing!?

i quite like features of that.... headlights are nice and round.... and erm there clear!? that is one shocking car! thank god its a one off kit!

1. is there a reason i shouldnt use studs instead of bolts in my inlet mainfold. 2. the rod that pushes the bit on the side of the gearbox that may operate a lever nside has fallen out during my engine transplant is this a bad thing?

im under the impression that there aint many cheap cars that are gonna make it as future classics tho saying that it is alot of the cheap cars that are classics today.. i.e. the mini i think things like the merc SL500 will be classicsbut they wont ever really interest me Do you reckon the new rereleases will be classics... things like the MINI, VW beetle, and fiat 500 oh what about the nissan Figaro that is design to look more classic?

I had a mini which i gave up on. biggeest mistake ever, sold it on and the guy now drives it around and im struck with wanting to ram it of fthe roads every time i see it! DONT GIVE UP! get a lift to CF and use it for insperation!

It's a Mazda huh!? cool i'll persuade him to buy some then.. is there any turbo kits available and yes i no turbos are crap but its his wants!
