sticking a 1600 xflow in my cortina (it had a 1300) can i just unbolt the engine from the gearbox and lift it out.. obviusly i'll have to disconnect other stuff fuel earth engine mounts etc, but can i just undo the ring of bolts round the flywheel housing and then lift it out and then put the new engine in straight onto the old flywheel housing?? anyhelp would be good the engine is coming out tomorrow!!

i want aircraft switches! i feel like im in a plan when i go to drive off specially whne reversing... car on, dash lights on, headlights on, dip, reverse lighton reverse, revrse light off, (full beam?), drive off... k that seems more plane like in my head!!!

I understand the principles to how a turbo work and i understand they do boost power... but what are they reasons for and against turbos?

where can i find the sort of times for the osf dag championships? im looking to build a sprint car i want a osf and my partner in crime is talking nissan 200 sx

well first off it doesnt have to pass an MOT in guernsey as we do have them. As for rust well it's only used as a runner, so i dont mind! prob phone the guy today and view it tonite or tommorrow if it aint raining.

Well, I sort of was thinking 60's/70's/80's really because I think that in the 80's, technology started to kick in and brought us to where we are now. As a kid in the 70's (I know, before your time lol) we only went to the seaside (30 miles) as a special treat and these days we think nothing of travelling 200 miles for a day to a show 30 miles!!! i can walk to most the beaches over here! Present day for sure all the toys of the past and present!
