  1. like this might have this one done theft by finding i m sorry but i dont think thats a very good tattoo at all. poorly done and its neither old skool or new skool in style just lost somewhere inbetween. i wish you guys would resurch your artists as much as you do your cars mate... i have to agree, the artist let me down, i designd it myself and it was a lot better on paper, there are no end of things i dont like about it and after hearing so much good reports about the artisit i was dissapoined... and yeah i learnt a lesseon... dont design them yourself, let the artist design it, he knows what hes cable of and knows what he's good at but i think your a bit of a t*at.... you talk about new school and old school like its some kind of law that i have to have some kind of goldfish, cherrys or bio mec around it.... why do it have to fit into a class... im into cars not styles of tattos! but like i said, im looking to get it sorted out and turned in to a half sleave now if you can reccomend someone to do that who you think could live up to their reputation im all ears the only reason i talk about different styles is that your gonna need to decide what style you would like for the half sleeve then you can start to look at artists that have a good portfolio of that style, you ll have trouble finding someone decent that is willing to ignor the styles that are proven to work both artisticly and with the shape of the body and do something that you have just thought up that was all i was trying to say, flames and hot rod logos, checkered flags, spark plugs, con rods, dice, eight balls is the way i d go with your half sleeve if i was you because it would tie in with whats all ready there and would make sense as a piece insted of having a patchwork quilt of random stuff that doesnt work well with each other. where abouts up north are you. there are some amazing artist up north, jo harrison in birmingham, steve byrne in leeds, louis malloy in manchester, richie clarke in liverpool to name a few. richie clarke is a friend of mine and his style would suit your half sleeve (the way i can picture it anyway! ) his a amazing artist and a good guy, heres a pic of a old skool with a new skool flavour (sorry i know you dont like themes but its hard to explain them any other way!) he did on me a few months ago, his line work is immaculate and can add colour to the skin just 'right' IMO
  2. it all depends on what man you ask to draw up your perfect tattoo though doesnt it thats all i m saying. basic rule of thumb is a decent tattooist will have a minimum of a 3 month waiting list. a shite 'scratcher' you ll have to wait 10mins while he sets up!
  3. i cant see how poorly done tattoos are the same as everyone has different tastes in cars, i m sorry maybe its just me that insists on a high standard of work for something thats gonna be there forever i ve had alot of work done by top artist and people are always asking where i got mine done and then ignor my advice and go down the local scratcher that some bloke down the pub with football tattoos recomended and then come back to me unhappy with the shite cheap tattoo they ve got done. there are some amazing artist out there these days just takes time to find them and resurch who would be best suited for the type of style you want to get done.
  4. like this might have this one done theft by finding i m sorry but i dont think thats a very good tattoo at all. poorly done and its neither old skool or new skool in style just lost somewhere inbetween. i wish you guys would resurch your artists as much as you do your cars

  6. looking good, would look even better polished though heres some pics of mk1's with 7.5's ones got it right ones got it wrong
  7. still doesnt aswer why only side hit and that everyone that has looked at it has said that the arm thing off the strut is bent hence why it was hitting. if it was the brakes they would hit both sides and on every single car but they dont only on cars with bent arm thing from the strut to the track rod and the disc wernt spaced out at all so as usual your facts are fudged
  8. Did they fit then ? My mates ones hit his track rod ends !!!!!!!! yeah it was only one that hit the track rod end, not the brakes fault more down to a bent track rod end. unlike you to get the facts wrong
