Hi, Got the latest mag yesterday, as good as ever. In the cars for sale there is a Mk1 Mex for sale in Kent, the phone number is incorrect, the guy I called last night said he does not have a Mex for sale and has had a number of calls. It may be a p**s take as the car is £2995ono. Let me know if you can find the correct phone number. Cheers Martin

Last I knew was the number belongs to a guy called Brent from Southampton way and was last on a Modena Green RS2000 Mk1 at AVO National day 2006 if this helps. Martin

Hi Best place for the cibies is ebay, kitted both my previous RS2's with super oscars and oscars (pair of each) from ebay about £100-£120 a pair. Just ebayed a mint pair of super oscars on ebay sold for £125, but were 1970's vintage. Steering rack, Just for a laugh, I called into my local motor factors last year when mine broke, looked it up in his book, ordered me one, arrived the next day £30. Fitted perfectly. I had to pay £300 for mine with period radio and clock, but that was my limit. The repo ones were £125 from escortrs.co.uk, I sold my repo one for £100 including radio and clock.

Its not that I did not want to reply, but wanted to check facts first but as you are nagging (lol) my educated answer (I did go to skool) is no. I have had a number and been to quite a few AVO days and never seen one with that colour combination. I will check in the AVO club X files book this evening. I am sure you will get some more answers (come on Vista RS). Sounds a good combination though. Martin

He says they are 6x13, all Mk1 rs alloys (except the ultra rare group1 alloys) were 5.5x13. Martin
