Hi Peeps To celebrate the new website launch I'm offering 18% off everything. No minimum spend, no excluded products. Only catch is that it only lasts a few days, so if you fancy anything now is the time to buy. Just type in OLDSKOOLFORD (in capitals) in the discount code box when you pay. Why the unusual number of 18% ? Because on some items we only have a 19% mark-up... Any forwards on twitter or Retards Club appreciated.

Hi Sorry its taken me a while to reply. I dont get to read the forum as often as I would like to. I can see you have a bit of a space issue. Unfortunately we dont really do one offs - we operate by making tooling (rather than working off the cuff) so it would be mighty expensive to commission a one-off from us unfortunately

We've finally managed to build a new website. Having been quoted between 15K and 25K I had a go myself...I think Ive finally ironed out all the errors but if you see any while having a browse please tell me. I am also trying to build up a photo portfolio of our products fitted to cars rather than just sitting on the shelf. So if you've bought any of the products and send in a photo that I can use on the web site I'd be very grateful (and will send you a discount code for your next order). Theres also now a readers classified ads section so feel free to flog your unwanted stuff.

Yeah its the 2nd time its happened. Customs think my tanks are for commercial food use as its so shiny and smooth. They say that lots of people say food handling stuff is non-food to avoid hygiene certificate or something. Had to go there myself in the end with a couple of the tanks on my car - that made the point though So they're back in stock now. Sorry you got the "Polack". I guess he never went to customer service school, but he is shit hot at designing tanks (oil, water, fuel etc) and other stuff. Glad you like the quality of the stuff And thanks for buying

Actually mine arent generic or Japanese. They're built to order by me in London! Which is why we would want to know: a) what unit you have fitted already as if this just died of old age or you want to upgrade then a like for like should work. If you dont have one already fitted or it doesnt mesh properly or some other problem then we would need to know number of teeth on flywheel and other details etc. Sometimes we miss orders by making the customer check, but I'd rather miss a sale than get complaints for supplying the wrong unit!

I've had some new decals printed. Anyone who wants one is welcome. Just send an Self Addressed Envelope at least 330mm long (as thats the size of the sticker). The old ones were a bit pants, but these are very beautiful.

I've got a range from £35 to £65. Ford people tend to take the best one, Mini chaps the cheapest! details http://www.ratsport.co.uk

I sent them an oil catch tank once at their request (we'll feature it in the mag...it'll be great publicity for you....you'll get rich and famous....) Did they feature it in the mag? Did I ever hear anything more? Did I even get the tank back?

You get a decent view out of these sort of bullets as theyre multi adjustable

Please add a little slip in the SAE saying "OSF sticker" or something or otherwise you might get a brochure as thats what most prople want who send in SAEs.

I believe the manufacturing cut off date was October 1973 - which means that by the time the cars sat in a dealership and got sold and registered that can often be a registration date of several months or more into 1974, or longer. I think in this instance its the manufacture date which counts. People often ask me this as I sell these black plates as this is what I was told by DVLA (who of course are not always right even about their own rules)
