after taking 2 weeks longer than planned and also an unplanned full respray finnaly got the engine in today, still got things to finish off and WILL have it running tommorow imo

always been into old cars and always really liked fords, then i saw the rothmans rally mk2 at beaulieu muesem when i was 13 thats when i stopped liking fords and started loving old fords

i run the rapid fit at tc harrison ford in peterborough, and want to have something to do with it on my car, so the idea is for one of you fantastic peeps to take the logo with the hand use the same font etc, remove th IT from the end of RAPID FIT and change it to RAPID FES or RAPID FEZ not sure what will look best the writing is usually in yellow on a blue back ground, but i'm thinking of either white writing or black writing thankyou in advance (bows low and humble as leaves room)

here's mine in white, sorry the pics where taken with my mobile. the exhaust manifold is temporary cos the ashley system turned up yesterday, i wanted it all in and finished tomorrow but when i started preping the engine bay last night i found a ton and a half of filler in the front panel and two holes on the o/s inner wing which was carefully disguised with sealer so new front panel shuld be here by tuesday so hope to be done by friday poor fez

well foook me i've just done my engine white, i used an aerosol heat resistant paint to give it a few coats then painted over itwhith hamerite smoooth i was gonna wait till next week when it was in to post a pic but i'll put one up in a mo

they say bad things happen in three's so far i've had two and they have been fairly big the firstwas last week when i got the timming wrong on a shitroen picasso by tooth and had to take the head of to replace a valve now thats bad enough aspecially for me then to top this week off i took a car out for a run after doing some work to it, not just any car but the managing director of peterborough ford's 4.2 supercharged v8 jaguar on very wet roads with many rounderbout's, i ended up parking it in the armco coming of a rounderbout , fookin good job he likes me i supose so after those two amazing disasters what can happen next

your right the green ones do look funny on the bumpers and skirts, blue ones are ok and the whites ones are ace, its something to do with the paint in the same way as the orange st focus' they catch the light and make different shades they're a right git to paint,
