I'm a Capri man,but this is really good!

I was looking at the Focus ST orange for my Mk2 aswell, until I saw it up close an' personal! A friend of mine sprayed his Clio in it at work, and, although it looks very nice, it does need to be sprayed by someone who knows what they are doing! But I don't think it would suit a Capri, too pearly, if you know what I mean, more suited to a hot-rod imo. I personaly, am torn between a solid orange, white, a very nice BMW red I've just seen (I work for a BMW dealer!) or one of their blues. Someone metioned "photoshop"? Anyone able to do that or recommend anyone, and how do I get them the colours to photoshop in?

The wheels certainly look like the jelly mould ones! And when I pointed out the fact that the 280 only came with 15's, well!!!! As for the "rotting", I seem to remember reading somewhere that they didn't even have underseal on them! Not a good idea considering the wonderfull weather we enjoy here.

No no,I know what a Brooklands is. My last Capri had the complete leather interior out of one! And I know what a "Special" is. I've never heard of a "Brooklands Special" Someone is selling some 7 spoke RS alloys in 16 inches. He reckons they are off a Brooklands Special! The Brookie's came with 15's!

Anybody ever heard of a "Brooklands Special" Capri? It's a new one on me!

Does anybody know anybody that has a set of 4 8x15 Minilight,Superlight or the similar Compomotives that they are willing to part with? With or without tyres and don't mind the odd scratch as long as that's all it is! Thanks. ps,they are to go on a Mk2 Capri.

Not sure if I can put this here. I have put it in General for sale but I thought it might reach more people here! I have two tickets,seated next to each other,for the Race of Champions at Wembley on Sunday. Unfortunately I've managed to get hold of a ticket for the Arse v Chelsea and as I can't be in two places at once,they have to go! Face value is £75 each and I'm selling them for £120 the pair! Has anybody heard of, or had dealings with, John Read Racing Engines of Saltash in Cornwall? I have just bought a Mk2 Capri with a 2.0ltr Pinto and one of their heads on it. I think it's just a bog standard lower end,but I was just wondering, if anybody had had any dealings with them,what their stuff was like. I don't have any problems or anything,but getting info from people that have used the company is,in my mind,a good way of finding out what's what!

Not normally a Cortina fan,BUT,that looks very,very nice. Tastefully done I must say! You are to be congratulated,as they say. Somewhere. I'm sure. Really! Anyway,could you tell me the wheel size please?

I am having a similar problem with my Mk1 Capri! I would love to try 16" or even 17" (dare to be different!) rims,but finding affordable ones is proving a little difficult!

Still pretty useless at computer stuff so don't know how to post pics,but would like to see a Mk1 Capri on 16" and then 17" RM 2's ! As well as 15" RS 7's.

I would have thought that all that extra crap stuck all over it would bring it down in price I think he is what is known as a "money grabbing b%*&$/d"
