change your reeds to v force reeds or carbon reeds make so much difference. Make sure your new reeds arent too thick they need to be nice and flexible. With the v force reeds you can also adjust the tension. Another trick is to port it a bit. Also another trick we did when we were racing if it has 2 rings snap one off and run one... less drag You could also advance the timing up a little. Open the inside of carb and inlet up. All you need is a file or dremel. Also as commented get a good plug like an iridium... Also check your plug colour you could lean her off a bit with a smaller mainjet. Need any more info just ask. Been getting rid of all the underseal under my car back to bare metal and have primed it with high zinc primer. Do i just paint it the colour of my car or do i stonechip it? Any advice would be great. Cheers, Luke

mart i was only playing, dean you sure you can get away with just entering a weight and no dimensions? Because they said its can only have a maximum girth of 3m width and length ways or something.Whats the biggest thing you sent? Tried tuffnells 2day said it was no problem but they wouldnt pick it up as i didnt have an account and the ebayer said it was too far away. So still back to square one

Anyone know of any reasonably priced delivery people, bought a door off ebay and everyone is saying its over the size they can send, they are like it needs to go on a pallet, when its only 25kg 120cm long, 110cm high and 20cm thick. Pickup is from west midlands and delivery is south london. If anyone has sent anything like this or has any ideas please me get know. My cars meant to be getting sprayed on sunday! Cheers, Luke

im using that u-pol 1k acid etch primer in cans over bare metal repairs and exisiting flatted off paint work/repairs... Stu you seem the man to ask is that alrite? I was gonna etch it flatten it and then hibuild primer any rougher areas? Then whenever my mate has the time he was gonna either 2k primer and paint it at his bodyshop or just blow over existing primer? Any advice would be great.

Alrite guys, currently rebuilding my mk2 escort and am going to put a mexico splitter on it, i got one from Peter Llyod rallying and it was rubbish all flimsy and didnt fit to well. Just wondering if any of you got any recomendations? Thanks, Luke
