ill take thermostat out, but it was running without one when it went wrong it was like a switch flicked a couple of weeks back and it just started overheating rad is fine no real dings or anything i guess ill take it to ol wpe if i get stuck

fitted a new thermostat before i fitted the pump sytem has been drained and filled, no air locks whats an 88 hemostat ian??

changed water pump and also fuel filter today to get car up and running and guess what its still overheating any ideas people as its driving me mad as i need the car to deliver my mac cheers

first car was a van thn me first legal car was the tina (started off proper)

changed water pump on the xflow and tried to start the car and now it just turns over on the ignoition but its like it wont spark up and get running checked cables and also made sure not to touch the bottom pulley so timing should still be fine only thing i can think is the bults on the piss as the pump pulley is sitting futher in, but it has always been a bit off so it should be fine any ideas folk
