  1. Small Ford spares www.smallfordspares.co.uk It's not easy to convert to the later type as the bearing size is different and it's fitted in the drum, you'll need to change the strut as well.
  2. Yep, Aston DBS. No way it's a Capri with that fromt chassis
  3. You haven't said what wheels are going on it
  4. Now where shall I start?? Fords '59 100E Pop, 1700 pre x-flow '60 100E Pop, stock '60 107E Prefect, 1600 x-flow '58 Thames 300E, 1700 x-flow(?) 5. The dark Brown was called Roman Bronze
  6. Hi Dean Another local
  7. Nice one If it's had an eight in it, I would doubt very much that it's still the original axle, easy way to tell is to check the PCD, 100E's are about 5" rather than 4 1/4.
  8. The Anglia 100E was available as a standard and deluxe up until September '59 when the 105E came out. The Popular was a 'bargain basement' car sold alongside the 'new' Anglia, hence the two names. Pretty much the same as had happened for the upright models before.
  9. I thought it was about time I put these up My 100E Pop, 1700 x/flow block, precross head on 40's, Anglia box and rear axle, XR2 discs on stock front legs, 5 1/2x13 and 7x14 slots Wifies 105E (with dog!) 1500GT, +60, big valve head, Mk2 Cortina front legs, 2 1/4 conversion, 2.8 Capri brakes, 5 and 7x13 Revos Project 300E, 1760 (alledgedly) crossflow, Anglia box and axle, Capri/Escort front, currently on Lotus steels, but they will be changed, going to be Blue. Then there's this, which will probably end up with the old 1200 from the 105E as a daily. It's a bit more complete now! There are a few others, but I won't bore you
  10. Saw this at Billing, REALLY niiice
  11. That takes me back a bit, I had a Sandpiper 2 when I was 18 It was only 3 years old at the time and the poor little thing must have gone to hell and back I seem to remember that they were only available in the Midlands Ford dealers. Dave
