sorry to resurrect ld posts, but i just wondered if this meet still happens or if there are any good meets in essex.

just put a new clutch in my capper after waiting a month to do it. b4 it was always dry when i went out in it. took it out a few days ago and it was still a bit damp, i was truly scared to touch the throttle after it would not stop kicking the back out everytime i even thought about accelerating. i dont think itll be going out in the wet too much from now on, its a good laugh when ya mean to do it but when it catches you unawares doing 40 and just hitting a puddle leaves you with your rear wheels a few inches away from the kirb its time to wait for it to dry up. but thats ok because we live in sunny old engleand.

i crew for a pro et car and we have always run our pb's at the pod. the pods track is much better prepped at a meeting and clean up crew is second to none. but shakey has free seating and the good thing is the pits makle it so you cant go more than about 5 mins walk from the track whereas the pod is a pain as pro et is now pitted past the finish line. shakey has by far the better atmosphere at night and we have had many a good night there, can;t remember half of them mind. verdict: i have to say i prefer the pod for its proffesionalism and all round great atmsophere on race day.

i have tried and tried to cut out the car from the rest of the image in photo impact but it just does something odd everytime like cutting just the outline or a ghosted image. cananyone make me a sig please with any of the following images. Thanks alot, Lee.

i know its an old post but i was standing about 60ft away from the guy and saw them loading the poor guy into the ambulance. i heard another story on who was at fault and what the object was (from a trustworthy source) but i don't want to go throwing accusations about. it was a tragic accident indeed and i am glad that it hasn't affected racing too much. condolences to the family.

just a few new photos i took today.

i was down there in the capri. traffic was too slow and the old temp gauge wasnt looking too promising so i pulled up in one of the car parks. i dont think i saw any osf down there. i did see a mk2 escy, another mk3 capper cruising around and 2 more mk2 escys parked up near the casino.

ok, there was a few white 3 doors down there.

hi, i live in southend and i saw that going down the a127 a few days ago on the back of a transporter. looks bloody lovely in the sunlight, great bit of paint.

the engine bay hasnt been painted yet as the guy who used to own it was going to put a chevy in it. i have only had it a few days but i will put some pictures up soon.
