Does anyone know of a mk1 escort with mexico id on it, reg EGA950K.

Has anyone else had crap service from burton power. I bought a Kenlowe fan kit from there website with the capillary thermo but they sent me the elec one instead,thats the one the probe goes thru the rad fins. They refuse to send me the correct item until I send them the incorrect item first. You would think they would put customers first and send out the correct item asap,they deny that they sent wrong part out even though on there website its the capillary fan you get and no mention about you get the elec one instead. It seems to me they just take your money and then dont give a f**k about you afterwards. Is it just me that isnt happy about there attitude.

I'd certainly buy a set from you I need those for my mk1.

I've got a full car, i was using it up to a month ago, its stage 2, about 220bhp at the mo. Would it be easy enough to splice the 2 looms together, also the sump bulge is at the front on the nissan engine, will need to see if it can be turned round. I really want to do this conversion as its easy to get about 350-360bhp out of it before you have to touch the internals, lot cheaper and more reliable than a cossie. I just would'nt be able to afford to do it with a cossie. Thanks for the info so far, please keep it coming as i need all the help i can get. Gary

I'm thinking about putting a nissan ca18et engine and box in either the mk1 caprii or mk2 escort estate. Has anybody put this engine in a old ford before and if so any info on the conversion would be very gratefully received. Gary

Heres my Capri mk3 2lt, originaly a laser. Had this a couple of months now.....after flying through it's MOT i started doing a few wee mods. Heres what i've done. Fitted 7x13 Wolfrace Slotmags, painted black. mk2 capri grille. mk2 Escort quarter bumpers. mk2 Escort rear bumper cut to make quarters. Full shark grey interior, had new mini cooper s front leather seats when i got it. Heres some before and after pics.

I think the hardest bit is to get all the clubs to agree to when, where etc. It would be good if this all works as it will bring all the clubs together.

Heres another idea, what about getting the top 10 from the north and the top 10 from the south from the rolling roads and taking them to York drag strip as its kinda central so we can translate the power figures into real world performances.

I have 2 i really regret selling, after 10 years i still regret selling my dark green mk1 Escort and my stardust mk1 Capri i sold about 4 years ago. I know the guy with the Capri but he just won't sell it back, he's never used it either and it's condition is deteriorating

Well gutted, for myself and Doc. It was some fright i got but the only damage to me was me fooking me back again when it hit. I'll get it fixed again, better than new and then I'll give Doc first refusel on it. Getting a mate to start stripping car down tomorrow so can asses damage. Post some more pics up tomorrow.

Loving that, I've been fancying a mk1 fiesta recently, I love the supersport look. Haven't seen it around, does your brother drive it much in Falkirk area?
